3 Minutes in Lyon Film Festival welcomes entries of all types from crazy, witty comedy sketches, to stop-motion Lego creations, documentary style, music video, man-on-the street or anything you find entertaining and unique.

Arab American Film Festival

This popular annual event presents short and feature-length films made by Arab American and Arab World filmmakers, and films focusing on topics of interest to Arab Americans – all of which are accessible to mainstream audiences of all backgrounds. Many of these films are rarely screened in commercially in U.S. theaters; some are in English while others are in Arabic or French with English subtitles. Director Q&A sessions and panel discussions are part of the lineup.

All screenings take place in the intimate 156-seat Auditorium on the Lower Level of the Arab American National Museum (AANM), 13624 Michigan Avenue, Dearborn, Michigan.

The Thursday, December 3 Opening Night Reception takes place in the AANM Community Courtyard.

Free, lighted parking is available in the municipal lot behind the Museum; enter lot by turning north from Michigan Avenue onto Neckel Street, immediately west of the AANM.

Part-time Creative Arts Coordinator needed for designing, coordinating and implementing citywide performing arts / theatre, cultural programs and special events with vision, integrity and expertise. Detroit area wanted for reality show audition

Downsized and underemployed in the metro Detroit area wanted for reality show audition.  

The Agency is executive producing the reality show “Rollin’ On” about the transformation of Detroit workers into film and television crews.  We will be auditioning on Tuesday, June 30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Motor City Movie House in the Russell Industrial Center, 1604 Clay, Building 1, 5th Floor, Detroit, MI  48211.

Requirements:  Enthusiasm and authenticity.  A willingness to share your story, learn a new craft and work within groups. 

Process:  candidates will be screened by our producers on camera in first phase, if selected in the second phase auditioned on camera by our panel of judges for final teams.
